National Red Hat Day observance planned

YOUNGSTOWN — In conjunction with the National Red Hat Day celebration April 25, special events have been planned in Youngstown by the Red Hat Society — A String of Pearls, and by Claire Maluso, special events director with the office of Economic Development.

The program will begin at 10 a.m., followed by a luncheon at noon at Overture Restaurant, adjacent to the DeYor Centre, 260 Federal Plaza West, with a full program of activities and entertainment until 4 p.m.
