Organization offers trees, shrubs for sale



CORTLAND -- Trumbull County master gardeners of the Ohio State University Extension Office are offering trees and shrubs for sale for the second year through April 1. The organization took over the sale from the Trumbull Soil & amp; Water Conservation District.
The master gardeners committee will provide a tree handout to all buyers, listing the size and spreads of the plants available, ideal conditions, locations for planting and other information.
Most of the trees are native to Northeast Ohio and cost less than 1 each. They are bundled five to 10 plants each.
To order trees or shrubs, call the Ohio State Extension office at (330) 638-6783 or visit the office at 520 West Main St., Cortland, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Tree pickup will occur at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds flower barn from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 19 and 20 or 8 a.m. till noon April 21.
