DROP-OFF SITE: Youngstown Iron and Metal, 3009 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. (U.S. Route 422) near state Route 711.
ACCEPTED: Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, stoves, water coolers, water heaters, water softeners, washers and dryers and other appliances made primarily of metal, which have outlived their usefulness.
FREE: Freon removal and unloading assistance at the drop-off site.
LIMIT: 10 units per resident or small business per day, for a total of 30 over three days.
NOT ACCEPTED: Electronics, tires and household hazardous wastes, which are collected in other drives.
NOT AVAILABLE: Payment can't be made for appliances, and appliances can't be picked up at the source.
