Part of Forney Inc. moving to Cranberry
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Forney Inc., which makes testing equipment for the construction industry, is moving part of its operations from Hermitage to Cranberry, Pa. The sales, customer support and executive offices will be relocated June 1, said Jeffrey Dziki. The company also announced Thursday that Dziki has been named chief executive, in addition to the president post he has held since 2002.
The move includes about eight people, plus others who will be hired. The move will improve the company's ability to recruit employees and put it closer to the Pittsburgh International Airport, he said. The company's manufacturing operations, which employ 15, will remain at 1565 Broadway.
FirstEnergy declaresquarterly dividend
AKRON -- The board of directors of FirstEnergy Corp. declared an unchanged quarterly dividend of 50 cents per share of common stock. The dividend will be payable June 1 to shareholders of record as of May 7.

Student loan providerbeing sued by New York
ALBANY, N.Y. -- The New York attorney general plans to sue a California student loan provider, contending the company is making illegal kickbacks to schools in exchange for business, the attorney general said Thursday. Attorney General Andrew Cuomo said he sent a notice of intent to sue Education Finance Partners Inc., based in San Francisco.
