Trumbull County Visitors Guide is available at tourism bureau

WARREN -- The Trumbull County Visitors Guide, which includes information about the local area, is now available from the tourism bureau.
A total of 30,000 guides were printed. They will be distributed at state-operated Travel Information Centers, given to tour operators and group leaders attending travel industry shows and provided to local attractions and sites.
Additionally, the booklets will be mailed along with a copy of the 2007 Calendar of Events to potential visitors to Trumbull County, in response to information requests received by the Tourism Office resulting from the bureau's 2007 advertising campaign.
Print ads promoting Trumbull County began appearing in major magazines and publications in February, and reader response referrals are being forwarded to the Tourism Office by these publications.
A significant portion of the expenses related to the development of the new visitors guide was underwritten by the Tourism Bureau to make advertising in it more affordable for the organization's members. A total of 27 members took advantage of the promotional opportunity.
