Regional chamber honors three

BOARDMAN —  Three men honored by the Regional Chamber said they sensed a new community spirit is building in the Mahoning Valley.

John Reardon, former Mahoning County treasurer, said Wednesday that he thinks community leaders will succeed in expanding the local economy, improving education, reversing the population decline and keeping young people in the area.

“We will make this Valley greater than it ever was,” he said at the chamber’s annual meeting at Mr. Anthony’s today.
