Mercer County cook-off to determine chili master

TRANSFER, Pa. — The third annual Mercer County chili cook-off sponsored by the Literacy Council of Mercer County, WYTV- Channel 33 and Time Warner Cable Co. will be held from noon to 3:30 p.m. April 27 at the Winner Institute of Arts and Sciences, 123 Edgewood Drive Extension.

Individuals and restaurants will compete in separate divisions to find out who is the chili master of Mercer County.

The chili cook-off supports literacy programs and raises awareness of Literacy Month in Mercer County.
