Gun, gasoline used in Liberty home invasion

LIBERTY — Police are looking for four armed suspects who are believed to have broken into a township home and terrorized a family earlier this week.

A police report said a family of two adults and four teens was in its Logan Arms Drive home just after 7 a.m. Monday when four men entered. Two of the men were said to have guns and a third said to have a bottle full of gasoline.

Police say the man carrying the gas went to a rear bedroom and threatened a 27-year-old male resident. Two of the intruders first   demanded   he give them jewelry, then demanded money.

The resident handed over $5,000 he had reportedly been holding after the sale of a home. After receiving the money, one man struck the resident with the gun and the other poured gasoline on his head.
