Girl reports being raped

YOUNGSTOWN — A 15-year-old Clearmont Drive girl who left her home around 2 a.m. today after taking the phone off the hook returned at 4 a.m. and told her mother she was raped by a boy who asked her to go for a ride, reports show.

The girl and her mother were interviewed by police at Beeghly Medical Park. The girl said she and the boy talked on the phone at 1 a.m. and she agreed to sneak out and go with him.

She said they rode around for a while and then he pulled over somewhere on the South Side and they had sexual intercourse after she said no. The girl told police she didn't try to force him off her. When she returned home, the doors were locked and she sat on the porch crying until her mother let her in.
