Lordstown workers could face discipline

LORDSTOWN — Possible disciplinary action is pending against 11 employees who were arrested outside the General Motors complex here.

Tom Mock, a complex spokesman, said each case will be reviewed separately so he couldn’t comment on what disciplinary measures could be taken. Management’s review of the cases hasn’t started, he said.

Jim Graham, president of United Auto Workers Local 1112, said the cases will be handled internally and he didn’t want to comment further.

The employees were arraigned on misdemeanor charges Monday. Police said the men were smoking marijuana, drinking alcohol, or doing both, in the parking lot on their lunch breaks.
