BUDGET WOES Possible savings

Some of the options school officials are considering to eliminate close to a $1 million debt for the next school year:

Eliminate a total of 13 full-time teaching positions. Seven would be at the elementary schools, and six would be at the high school.

Change all-day kindergarten to half-day classes.

Eliminate one paid assistant varsity coach per varsity sport. Numbers weren’t available on the total number of potential cuts.

Eliminate one administrator.
