The Ohio School Facilities Commission has presented the Warren Board of Education with three general options for the construction of the new schools. The original construction had to be downsized because of low projected enrollment rates.
OPTION ONE
Construction of two K-8 school buildings at the Jefferson School site.

Student population in grades 6-8: 197
Total student population: 644
Building size: 84,000 square feet
Projected costs: $14.4 million; local share, $2.8 million
Construction at the Parkman Road site
Student population in grades K-5: 447
Student population in grades 6-8: 197

Projected costs: $14.4 million, plus mitigation costs; local share, $2.8 million plus mitigation costs
OPTION TWO
Construction of one K-8 school at Jefferson School site or Parkman Road site.

Total student population: 1,288
Building size: 161,000 square feet
Projected costs: $14.4 million; local share, $2.8 million
Overall total cost: $27.8 million
OPTION THREE
Renovation of parts of the current Reserve building and partial new construction to create a K-8 school.

Total student population: 1,288
Building size: 169,000 square feet to 187,000 square feet
