Pedestrian killed by car near Homeworth

HOMEWORTH   — The Lisbon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said today it is still investigating a fatal accident that occurred Tuesday.

Michael Luca, 88, of 248 Homeworth Road, was crossing the road in front of his home at 7:55 a.m. when he was struck by a northbound car driven by Tina N. McCracken, 36, of Linwood Road, Alliance.   Luca was pronounced dead at Alliance Community Hospital.
