Proposed measure

Township officials agreed this week to seek a five-year, 4.1-mill general operating levy on the November ballot. In Boardman, 1 mill costs a property owner $1 for every $1,000 of assessed property valuation annually.

Here’s how the cost would break down:

For the owner of a $50,000 home, it would cost $50 annually.

For the owner of a $100,000 home, $100 annually.

For the owner of a $200,000 home, $200 annually.
