Iacobucci leads R&J Trucking past Rondinelli
Mike Barone had four hits to help Simon Roofing pull away from Roth Brothers.
STRUTHERS — Joe Iacobucci had three doubles, leading R&J Trucking to a 9-8 victory over Rondinelli Tuxedo in a Class B League game at Cene Park Monday.
Mike Popio and Dan Kubala added two hits each for R&J, while John Pitzullo and John Gardner hit doubles.
Adam Sepesy pitched 11⁄3 innings for the win.
Tony Brunetti went 3-for-3, hitting a triple and double, and had five RBIs for Rondinelli. Rondinelli’s first three hitters in the lineup — Cory McGinnis, Chuck Olesky and Matt Katich — all had two hits. Katich also doubled, while Cory McGinnis tripled.
Astro Falcons 11, Livi Steel 7
Corey Susany picked up the win for Astro with relief help from Dave Dejacimo.
Mike Dota and Drew Turocy both had three hits. Dota doubled twice and tripled, and Turocy hit a three-bagger. Mark Lapikas also hit a triple.
For Livi Steel Dan Perkins and Zach Byler had two hits, including one double apiece. Garrett Malloy singled twice.
Simon Roofing 13, Roth Bros. 5
STRUTHERS — Mike Barone went 4-for-4 with three RBIs as Simon Roofing scored nine times in the final three frames.
Frank LaRubbio also had four hits for Simon (9-14), while Anthony Ragazine tossed two scoreless innings of relief for the win.
Robert Pecchio had two doubles and three RBIs for Roth Brothers (3-20), while Adam Hall added two singles.
Wharmby Sports 3, Roth Bros. 1
Matt Tyson scattered eight hits in a complete-game win as Wharmby Sports defeated Roth Brothers Sunday night.
Tyson had three strikeouts while Todd Finn had two hits, and Brian Szako added a single and a double for Wharmby.

Jared Barker allowed just one earned run and four hits as he tosssed a complete game for R&J Trucking. Xavier Godoy had a single and a double, while Matt Pitzulo added two hits for R&J. Dane Dobson and Justin Gorgacz had doubles for Dave Sugar.

Nick Biamonte scattered three hits in a complete-game effort, striking out three.
Joe Bako, Mike Kelly, Mike Dota and Trent Vallinger all had two hits for Roth. Kelly had a double.

Bob Revesz allowed just three hits in a complete-game win. He was backed by Matt Kirkwood, who singled and doubled. Josh Swepis scored two runs.
Josh Fyffe had two doubles for Action, and as a reliever teamed with starter Dan Keil to allow only four hits.
Rondinelli 11, Simon Roofing 7
Rondinelli scored five runs in the second inning and went on to a victory. Frank Rosile had three hits for Rondinelli, while Cory Hitt and Chuck Olesky added two each. Hitt and Rosile had doubles.
For Simon Roofing, Rich Tisone, Matt Durkin and Joel Melnick each had a pair of hits. Melnick hit a triple.

YOUNGSTOWN — Champion Marlins scored all its runs in the fifth inning and defeated McMurphy-PO, 3-2 in a game between Youngstown and Warren Class AA teams Sunday at Pemberton Park.
Jeff Speck and Tom Popadak had two hits each for Champion, while John St. John and Aaron Johnstone combined on a five-hitter.

WARREN — Tri-County scored six runs in the top of the ninth inning to rally from a four-run deficit.
Brandon Scoff had three hits, including a pair of doubles, and three RBIs, to lead Tri-County, while Ricardo Duany singled twice.
Pete Goche had two hits, including a double, and four RBIs for Girard. Jason Darocha added a double and single, and Brandon Keck and Matt Vuckovic had two-baggers.

YOUNGSTOWN — Mike Sikorski led a 13-hit attack with four hits, including a double, and Adam Cox had two singles and a double as Roth Brothers improved to 14-0.
Joe Bettura singled twice for Roth, while Eric Jones had a triple and two RBIs, and Jim Putko drove in three runs.

Zac Dunn had three hits, including a double, for Tamburros. Scott McDermott drove in two runs, while Ray Jaminet, Rob Tamburro and Blair Lang all doubled.

WARREN — Dave Patrick went 4-for-4 with a double to lead PI&I Express.
Brandon Wood, Mike O’Neill and Mike Fry all singled twice for PI&I, and Todd Ruminski scattered three hits and two unearned runs over eight innings.
Kevin Lee hit a double and Tim Jones a pair of singles for Reds.
