The board of education has received 18 applications for the superintendent’s position. The applicants, residence, current job and experience:

Thomas Dimit of Toledo; attorney; former academic administrator at The Ohio State University.

Dr. William Zwick of Orrville; superintendent of Marion City Schools; former superintendent of Nordonia City Schools.

Dr. Thomas Gay of Hilliard; regional vice president of Public School Management; former superintendent of Lapeer Community Schools in Michigan.

John   Grahovac Sr. of Poland; principal and director of cooperative learning program with the Portage County Educational Service Center; former superintendent of Windham Exempted Village Schools.
