Warren man dies in crash

HOWLAND — A 46-year-old Warren man died from injuries suffered when his sport-utility vehicle was hit by a car that failed to yield at an intersection, the state highway patrol said this morning.

Micahel J. Raub of Henn Hyde Road was driving on Niles-Vienna Road about 3 p.m. Sunday when his vehicle was hit by a car that failed to yield from a stop sign on Stillwagon Road, reports said.

Raub was taken to St. Joseph Health Center in Warren and then St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, where he died from his injuries.

The patrol said the driver of the car, Oi Lingok Datchuk, 50, of Kenyon Road, Warren, was not injured. The investigation into the crash is continuing, the patrol said.
