Two roads, one in Smith and one in Goshen, to close

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Engineer’s Office will close two roads through Wednesday for construction.

Garfield Road between Smith Goshen Road and state Route 534 in Goshen Township will be closed so that three culverts can be replaced. The detour takes traffic along state Route 534, Pine Lake Road and Smith Goshen Road.

Oyster Road in Smith Township at the railroad crossing will be closed for repairs on the railroad tracks. The detour takes traffic along South Range Road to state Route 225, to Middletown Road.
