Mahoning Valley schools

Enrollment in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana public schools continues to decline. Enrollment in 2003-04 with the average administrative spending per pupil in parentheses, followed by enrollment in 2005-06 (the latest year available), again with average administrative spending per pupil in parentheses, shows:

Mahoning: 36,369 ($994); 34,553 ($1,034).

Trumbull: 34,527 ($1,002); 33,266 ($1,038).

Columbiana: 16,580 ($942); 15,907 ($938).
