ABWA chapter awards scholarships

YOUNGSTOWN — The American Business Women’s Tri-Gold Prime Time Chapter presented scholarship awards to two students during a meeting held June 13 at Nancy’s Place on Shady Run Road.

Scholarships of $1,500 were awarded Helena Eusanio, a daughter of Rose Eusanio, and Brittney Corso, a daughter of Frank A. Corso and Julie L. Corso. The girls will attend Youngstown State University.

The 29 chapter members raised the funds by soliciting ads for the ABWA September style show and by selling nuts in the fall. Individuals and businesses also make contributions to the scholarship fund.
