Mahoning OVI checkpoint results in citations

GREEN — The Mahoning County Operating a Vehicle Impaired Task Force stopped 1,312 motorists from Friday night through this morning at checkpoints on U.S. Route 62 and Middletown Road and state Route 45 at Pine Lake Road. One person was cited for drunken driving. Two were cited for driving under with suspended licenses and 24 cited for not wearing a seat belt.
