Scrappers Live | Take III

Cardinal Mooney High graduate Jeff Hehr got the first hit for the Scrappers at Eastwood Field in 2007, singling up the middle with two on and no out in the second inning, loading the bases. The Scrappers scored one run in the inning to take a 1-0 lead.

Hehr also started a double play in the first inning. The legend grows. More fun facts about Hehr:

- Jeff Hehr can win a game of Connect Four in only three moves.

- The Great Wall of China was originally created to keep Jeff Hehr out. It failed miserably.

- When Jeff Hehr does a push-up, he doesn't lift himself up, he pushes the earth down.

Through the first five innings, the Scrappers lead 3-1.

On an unrelated note, WYTV sportscaster Bill Castrovince heartily endorses "Icky Thump," the new White Stripes album. "Jack White is the best guitar player on the planet," he said.

"Currently," he said.
