Volunteers needed for lap robe project

WASHINGTONVILLE — Washingtonville VFW Post 5532 Auxiliary is seeking volunteers to knit, crochet or quilt lap robes for veterans at various Veteran Administration hospitals, clinics and nursing homes.

Anyone interested in the “Cover Them With Love” lap robe project is invited to a kick-off meeting to be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the VFW Hall on County Line Road.
