Ice cream social Sunday

GIRARD — The St. Rose Church ice cream social will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday in the food court garages at the church, 48 E. Main St.

The event is a fundraiser for the upcoming St. Rose Summer Festival to be held July 26 to 29. The menu will include a scoop of vanilla cream with topping choices of crumbled cookies, syrups, nuts, jimmies or whipped cream.

The cost is $2 for adults and $1 for children.
