All America League officially approved

School superintendents approved the league constitution for the All American Athletic League earlier this week.

The league, which is a merger of schools in the Metro Athletic Conference and the Trumbull Athletic Conference, will begin play in the fall of 2008.

Sixteen schools will compete in the three-tiered league: Beaver Local, Brookfield, Campbell, Canfield, Champion, Girard, Howland, Hubbard, LaBrae, Lakeview, Liberty, Newton Falls, Niles, Poland, Salem and Struthers.
