Voletta rocks MySpace battle of the bands

WARREN — Voletta, a Warren-based rock band, took first place in Sunday’s Battle for MySpace, a battle of the bands held at the Agora in Cleveland.

Voletta beat out eight other bands from the region and won $500 and $2,000 in recording time at a professional studio.

The group, formed in February 2006, consists of Corey Svoboda, Mike O’Grady, Matt Prock and Mike Hicks.
