OVI checkpoint set Wednesday in Trumbull County

WARREN — An Operating Vehicles Impaired checkpoint will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Trumbull County. Area police departments will be responsible for operating the checkpoint.

The exact location will be announced sometime Wednesday. The checkpoint is in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to combat alcohol-related crashes. Officers will be looking to make sure drivers are not drinking and are using their seat belts.
