Area Kiwanis member to attend convention

CANFIELD — Barb Smith will represent the Kiwanis Club of Western Mahoning County at the Kiwanis International Convention to be held July 3-7 in San Antonio, Texas.

Smith, a member of the club’s board of directors and membership chairman, will be a voting delegate.

Stan Leonard, president-elect of the club, and Glenn Sedgwick, vice president, attended a Club Leadership Education training session June 9 at Wickliffe Christian Church in Austintown. The event was sponsored by the Ohio District of Kiwanis and hosted by Division 21.
