Thunder vs. Steamwheelers, ejection

Steamwheelers coach Sean Ponder was ejected in the third quarter after tripping Mahoning Valley defensive back Reggie Perkins after Perkins returned an interception for a touchdown at 10:04 of the third quarter.

As Perkins circled around the end zone wall behind Ponder, the Quad City coach stuck his leg out behind him, replays showed.

The Thunder went on to add the extra point for a 49-21 lead.
