A listing of food sales and dinners is published Wednesday. Please submit information for takeout and sit-down dinners to the Society Department before 5 p.m. Monday.

FRIDAY

American Legion Post 290, state Route 14, Columbiana, will hold an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m.   Meals will include coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, french fries, dessert and coffee. The cost is $8, and carryouts will be available. Kids’ meals of hot dog, macaroni and cheese, french fries and dessert are $3. A wings night will be July 25. The cost is $4.50 for nine wings.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; and bread and butter, coffee or tea. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.

St. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling (330) 746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m. Friday.

SATURDAY

The Greater Pottery Area Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold an annual Frank Zamarelli Sr. memorial pancake breakfast from 7 a.m. to noon at St. Paul Church, State Street, Salem. Meals will include sausage, scrambled eggs, beverages, and all-you-can-eat pancakes. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children. A blood drive will also be held from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donors who register by noon will receive a free breakfast. For more, information call (330) 332-0028.

SUNDAY

A chicken paprikash dinner will be served by Circle of Serbian Sisters of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 54 Laird Ave., Youngstown, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Serbian Memorial Hall. The menu will include dumplings, salad, dessert and coffee. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. Containers will be provided for takeout orders.

A stuffed chicken breast dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30   p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus parish hall, corner of Cameron and Gibson avenues, Youngstown. The menu will   include parslied potatoes, vegetable, applesauce, dessert and beverage. Cost is $7.50 for adults, $3.50 for children 6 to 12 and free for those 5 and under. St. Jude Church Activity Center, Seventh Street, Columbiana, will hold a spaghetti dinner from noon to 3 p.m. as a benefit to cover travel expenses for volunteers participating in a rebuilding project in New Orleans. Tickets are $6 for children and $3 for children 4 to 12. Those 3 and under eat free. Donations may be made to Catholic Charities of Youngstown and mailed to the Rev. Edward Brienz, 159 W. St. Rose Church, 48 E. Main St., Girard, will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Rosetta Hall. Also served will be meatballs, salad, bread, beverage and dessert. The cost is $6.50 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 and under.

UPCOMING

The union representing firefighters in Warren, Local 204 of the International Association of Firefighters, is sponsoring a spaghetti dinner from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 16 at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road N.E., Warren. The dinner’s proceeds will be used to promote passage of the city safety forces levy on the ballot this November.
