Birthday card shower for center resident

BOARDMAN — Helen Tkach, a resident of Boardman Specialty Care and Rehabilitation Center for the past 19 years, will turn 90 on Aug. 31, and her family has set a goal to help her celebrate the occasion.

They are asking friends and relatives to take part in a card shower, in hopes of seeing her receive 90 cards by her birthday.

Cards can be mailed to her at the center, 5665 South Ave., Room 208-B, Boardman, OH 44512.
