REUNIONS | Classes, families plan upcoming activities

Upcoming reunions are published Tuesday. Please submit information about class and family gatherings to the Society Department before 5 p.m. Friday.

Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1945 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. July 24 at Springfield Grille on Tiffany South, Boardman. Members of other classes and friends are welcome. For more information, call (330) 757-4941 or (330) 755-4761.

Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s restaurant. Final plans for a reunion will be made.

Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1954 will have a breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s, U.S. Route 224, Boardman. Guests are welcome.

The 130th Chalker Norton Viets family reunion will take place Aug. 12 at the American Legion Hall in Southington. There will be a Hawaiian luau at noon and a buffet dinner at 1 p.m. Those attending are asked to take a covered dish. There will be games and a craft table for children. Prizes will be awarded for the best Hawaiian costumes, the oldest and youngest family member, and the family traveling the greatest distance. All descendants of the families are invited.

Colonial Manor Nursing Home will have its second annual reunion from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Elton Beard Cabin in Boardman Township Park. Those attending are to take a covered dish. East High School Class of 1943 will hold a reunion beginning at 1 p.m. Aug. 10 at Johnny’s in Boardman. All members, past members and spouses are invited. For additional information or reservations, call Mike Ivko, (330) 759-9268.

The 20th anniversary Montaguto, Italy, reunion picnic will be held Aug. 5 at the UAW 112 picnic area in Lordstown. At noon, there will be pizza and pop followed by a Mass at 2 p.m. and a bocce and morra tournament at 4. Reservations are to be made by July 25 with JMJ Spiritual Connection, (330) 270-5657, and ask for catering.
