YOUNGSTOWN — Funeral services for r Dr. Robert K. Herbert, YSU provost and vice president for academic affairs, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church in Whitestone, Queens, N.Y. There will be a memorial service on the YSU campus at a later date. The family requests that no flowers be sent. A memorial fund will be established in Herbert’s name with details will be determined after the family returns to Youngstown. Herbert drowned July 6 while swimming with family members in the Pacific Ocean while on vacation in Costa Rica.
