It’s not too late to get Potter opening tickets

There is still time to get tickets and be one of the first to see “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.”

Tickets are available at each of the area theaters having midnight showings for the fifth Harry Potter movie — Tinseltown in Boardman and Regal Cinema locations in Austintown and Niles.

Both Tinseltown and Regal Boulevard Centre in Niles are having multiple showings at midnight in anticipation of large crowds. The time hasn’t been announced for the second show at Tinseltown. In Niles, three showings will begin at 11:59 p.m. today.

With managers at each of the theaters expecting crowds up to an hour before show time, beware if you still need tickets or want a good seat. Fans have been waiting for this moment and will be early.

This is the shortest of the movies so far produced and is based on the longest of the seven books. How closely the movie follows the book will soon be told, especially since other Harry Potter books only half the size or smaller have been shortened and been made into movies longer than this one.

“Order of the Phoenix” is a dark film because of Harry’s anger in the book.

Anger and anticipation from movie five will lead right to the anticipation for book seven, with its plethora of questions that need to be answered.
