Youngstown woman charged in Campbell vehicular assault


CAMPBELL — A Youngstown woman who allegedly attempted to run over her ex-boyfriend with a car was arrested Tuesday.

Taqualla Jackson, 23, of Myrtle Avenue, is charged with felonious assault, failure to comply, obstructing official business and criminal endangering for the June 24 incident.

Police responded to a distress call to find a man lying on the street at the intersection of Lettie and Freedom avenues here, according to police reports. The victim, a 29-year-old Youngstown resident, suffered major injuries in the attack, police added.
