Boardman Mayo 16, Canfield Red 5 — Tyler Blangero got the win in relief. Blangero and Johnny Fithian each doubled and tripled and Carlo DeAscentis had two doubles for Boardman. Jake Daugherty homered for Canfield, while Mike Ferrior doubled for Canfield.
Boardman Mayo 17, Austintown FOP 0 — David DiBernardi pitched a no-hit shutout, coming within one error of a five-inning perfect game. DiBernardi struck out nine. Carmen Tarantino homered, doubled and singled, while Blangero and DiBernardi each added three singles. DeAscentis hadd three hits and Joey Markovitch homered.
