R&J Trucking clinched the No. 1 seed in the playoffs.
STRUTHERS — Knowing it needed a win to lock up a playoff spot, Livi Steel sent Bobby Revesz to the mound on Saturday night — and he delivered.
Revesz struck out 10 over seven innings, giving up one run on six hits to lead Livi to a 3-1 win over Wharmby in Class B action at Cene Park.
Zach Cuffman hit a pinch-hit double and Taylor Englebaugh added an RBI single in the fourth inning as Livi (15-11) broke a 1-1 tie.
Brian Szabo went 2-for-3 to lead Wharmby (12-13).
Astro 4, Wharmby 0
Steve Schoenfeld pitched a two-hit shutout with seven strikeouts and a walk for Astro (19-6).
Drew Turocy and Mark Lapikas combined for five hits and three RBIs.
Szabo had two hits for Wharmby (12-14).
R&J Trucking 7, Roth Brothers 1
Xavier Godoy had three hits, while Ed Rohan, Joe Iacobucci and Dan Kubala each added two for R&J (23-3), which locked up the No. 1 seed for the playoffs. Jared Baker (5-0) got the win, while Pat Mulligan (1-6) took the loss.
Tim McBride had two hits for Roth (3-23).

Youngstown Express 7
Rohan had four hits, while Iacobucci and Scooter Hargate each added three for R&J, which survived a scare. Joe Tatarka picked up his second win and Scott Smith got the save.
Dan Gallagher had four hits, two runs and two RBIs for Express (3-22).
Late Friday
Astro 6, R&J Trucking 0
Turocy pitched one-hit ball over seven innings, striking out eight and walking three as Astro ended R&J Trucking’s 17-game winning streak. Shane Wagner had two hits for Astro, which scored five runs in the sixth inning to pull away.
Matt Pitzulo had the lone hit for R&J.

Wharmby Sports 0
Anthony Ragozine pitched a two-hit shutout, striking out three without a walk as Simon (11-13) kept its playoff hopes alive.
T.J. Stoian and Ben Bechtol had singles for Wharmby.
Rondinelli Tuxedo 10,

Tyler Gilmore pitched a three-hitter over five innings, striking out eight and walking three as Rondinelli (18-5) stayed a half-game ahead of Astro in the division standings.
Cory Nesbitt and Jason Ferguson each had two hits and Marc Kanetsky had two RBIs in the win.
Brian Tobias, Jarryd Summers and Josh Fyffe had singles for Action (9-16).
Yo. Express 3, Roth Brothers 2
Jake Snyder allowed one earned run over seven innings, giving up five hits, walking two and striking out seven for Express.
Kevin Monti and T.J. Rosenberg each had two hits, while Zach Kepple drove in the game-winner in the fourth.
Mulligan had two hits, including a double, for Roth.
Livi Steel 10, Dave Sugar 4
Mark Revesz had four hits and Dan Perkins added two for Livi, while Mark Carlozzi got the win. Dane Dobson had three hits and Eric Pirtz added two for Dave Sugar (12-12).
Youngstown AA
YOUNGSTOWN — Alex Oles pitched a one-hitter with eight strikeouts as Youngstown Metros posted a 11-0 victory over Andover in Youngstown Class AA League at Pemberton Park.
Metros sent 10 batters to the plate in the third inning as it scored seven runs on a walk, five singles and triples by Cameron Cimino and Chester Kirkwood.
Joe Coder hit a single for Andover in the second inning.
Jason Davis, Cimino and Mang paced Metros with two hits apiece.
Warren AA league
WARREN — Skiffey Neopolitan Dental scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning as it topped P.I.&I. Express 5-4 Friday at Warren AA League at Packard Park.
Adam Morgan hit three singles to spark Skiffey’s. Mike Hanck and Steve Liebal added two hits apiece.
Brandon Wood hit three singles for Express, while Dave Patrick and Andrew Wess each had two.
Girard Hardware 4, Reds 1
WARREN — Girard snapped a 1-1 tie as it scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning in the win over the Reds.
Josh Camuso and Andy Kaiman each hit two singles for Girard. Kyle Pitts hit two doubles in a losing cause for the Reds.
Corey Hinzman hit a double and single and Shaun Balas a pair of singles.
Champion Marlins 4,
Mahoning Valley Knights 1
WARREN — John St. John of the Marlins worked a complete game as he scattered six hits with four strikeouts to pick up the win.
The Marlins scored two runs in the second inning and two more in the third to take a 4-0 lead.
Travis McCartney hit two singles and scored twice for the Marlins. Andy Todor hit a pair of doubles and drove in the only run for the Knights.
