The engagement of Lisa Jolene Maravola of Cortland and Michael Thomas Matas of Austintown is being announced by their parents.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Carol Maravola of Girard and Michael Maravola of Youngstown, and parents of the future groom are Barbara and Thomas Matas of Austintown.
Miss Maravola graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and is a case manager with Trumbull County Department of Job and Family Services, Warren.
Mr. Matas is a finance director with Lake County Board of Commissioners/Finance Division, Painesville. He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting at YSU.
The couple will extend invitations for the wedding they have planned for 2:30 p.m. June 30 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Youngstown, and also for their evening reception at Ciminero's Banquet Centre in Niles.
