Lisbon's Sims nets 27; Crestview defeated

The Blue Devils and Rebels are tied for first place.
LISBON -- Erica Sims scored 27 points in leading the Lisbon High girls basketball team to a 67-28 victory over Mineral Ridge Monday in the Rams' gymnasium.
Sims' effort produced her 1,000th career point and she had four steals. The Blue Devils (13-3, 8-2 ITCL Tier One) built a commanding 55-20 lead by the end of the third quarter to earn a share of first place..
Caitlin Glenn chipped in with 10 points and she had five assists. Chelsea Green grabbed seven rebounds.
Heather Reinhart and Sarah Garland each had eight points for the Rams (4-12, 1-9).
Columbiana 66, Crestview 55
NEW WATERFORD -- Behind 32-29, the Clippers (9-6, 6-3 ITCL) outscored the Rebels 18-4, then held on for the victory.
Krista Johnson sparked the Clippers with 24 points. Katie Douglas added 10.
Chelsea, Brittany Bowker and Elsie Mongillo led the Rebels (13-3, 8-2) with 21, 17 and 12 points respectively. The loss ties the Rebels with Lisbon.
United 61, East Palestine 37
HANOVERTON -- The Golden Eagles jumped out 27-7 in the first quarter and the Bulldogs never seriously threatened.
Allison Graham sparked United with 15 points. Darlene Woolf chipped in with 10. Tori Powell led the Bulldogs with 10 points.
Jackson-Milton 37, Sebring 35
NORTH JACKSON -- The Bluejays (11-5) held a 26-21 lead heading into the fourth quarter and held on despite a late rally by the Trojans (7-9).
Liz Hughes sparked Jackson-Milton with 14 points. She also grabbed seven rebounds. Carrie Fiol added nine points and she had five assists and four steals. Jessica Balent pulled down seven rebounds and had five steals.
Megan Allcorn led the Trojans with 20 points and she grabbed 17 rebounds, blocked six shots and had five steals.
South Range 36, Springfield 22
NORTH LIMA -- Autumn Carter and Patty Schuster combined for 26 points for the Raiders (7-8, 3-6 ITCL Tier One).
The Raiders' defense limited the Tigers (6-10, 4-6) to four points in the first quarter, four in the second and nine in the third to take a 27-17 lead.
Carter scored 15 points and Schuster 11 for the Raiders. Adria Lyons paced the Tigers with seven points.
