Coming up: This week, the SteelHounds are off for a three-game roadtrip to Colorado and Texas. First, they will play the Colorado Eagles on Wednesday and the Rocky Mountain Rage on Thursday. Saturday, they will be in Odessa, Texas, to play the Jackalopes. After that, the SteelHounds will play six-straight home games against Bossier-Shreveport (Feb. 8-10) and Wichita (Feb. 16-18).Penalty box comfort zone: SteelHounds forward Dallas Anderson earned a 10-minute misconduct during his second-period fight against Dale Butland. Not long after he was released from the penalty box in the third period, Butland and Anderson went at it again, with Anderson quickly knocking Butland to the ice. Anderson was in another scrap when the game ended and the teams were leaving the ice.Video target: The SteelHounds video crew poked fun at Killer Bees winger David Masse during game breaks in the first and second periods. Masse was not pleased with the extra attention and the bits were dropped in the final period.Sunday matinee experiment: The SteelHounds announced an attendance of 2,708 for the SteelHounds' first Sunday late-afternoon contest. Their next two home series will be traditional Thursday-Friday-Saturday games.Man-advantages: The SteelHounds scored once on their 10 power-play chances. Captain Jeff Christian's third-period was the final goal in the 5-0 victory. The SteelHounds stopped five power plays by the Killer Bees.
