TRANSPORTATION Medical appointments

What: A six-passenger transport van is now taking trips to the Veterans Administration hospitals in Butler.
When: The van travels to the hospital on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays as scheduled.
Who: Military veterans going to scheduled medical appointments who have no other means of transportation are eligible to use the transportation.
Where: The van leaves from the Lawrence County Government Center.
How to use: Appointments can be made by calling the Lawrence County Office of Veterans Affairs at (724) 656-2180.
Volunteers: Volunteer drivers and schedulers are needed. Those interested can also call the Veterans Affairs office.
