SteelHounds reacquire defenseman

YOUNGSTOWN -- Defenseman Matt Hanson has been traded back to the Youngstown SteelHounds.
After being sent to the Tulsa Oilers in December, Hanson was sent back to the SteelHounds on Thursday.
After missing the first two months of the season with an injury, Hanson made his debut as an Oiler on Dec. 15 in a game won by the SteelHounds, 4-2. He has one assist in 14 games.
To make room for Hanson on the roster, the SteelHounds traded defenseman John Neal to the Lubbock Cotton Kings for future considerations.
Last year, the SteelHounds signed Hanson in January and he scored 10 goals and eight assists to be named most improved player.
"Matt is a strong player who can bring a lot to our power play," SteelHounds coach Kevin Kaminski said.
