State to auction vehicles in Columbus

COLUMBUS -- If you are looking for a good deal on a car, boat or trailer, you might want to head here Saturday.
The Ohio Department of Administrative Services will have a state surplus vehicle auction beginning at 9 a.m. at 4200 Surface Road. Gates will open at 8 a.m.
Vehicles may be inspected from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday through Friday and started only from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
About 117 cars, trucks, 4x4s and vans will be up for bid including the following models:
Ford Taurus and Crown Victoria.
Dodge Intrepid.
Ford and Chevrolet trucks.
Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford and Jeep 4x4s.
Chevrolet, Dodge and Ford vans.
Miscellaneous items including boats, trailers, outdoor motors and tractors.
Cash, cashier's check, business and personal checks will be accepted if accompanied by an irrevocable bank letter of credit or guarantee payment.
Surplus property auctions permit the public to buy quality goods that state agencies no longer need.
