Hinch will run in both primaries in Mercer
MERCER, Pa. — Lorinda L. Hinch will seek the Democratic and Republican nominations this spring for magisterial district judge in District 35-3-01.
Hinch has held that office since July 8, 2005, after being appointed by Gov. Ed Rendell and being confirmed by the state senate. She completed the term of Judge Ruth French who retired.
Hinch worked in the Mercer County District Attorney’s office from 1986 until 2005 as a supervisory assistant district attorney and later as a first assistant district attorney. She worked in the county public defender’s office from 1982 to 1986 and has also worked in private law practice.
She earned her juris doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh, where she also completed her bachelor’s degree.
