ASSOCIATIONS
XAmerican Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will meet at 10 a.m. Feb. 3 in the gathering room at Park Vista, 1216 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, for a continental breakfast. The business meeting will begin at 10:30, and at 11, students from Italy who are attending Youngstown State University will present a program, "A Woman's Life, Italian Style." XFlora McDonald Auxiliary will meet Feb. 3 in the activity room at Shepherd of the Valley on Sharrott Road, Boardman, where dessert will be served at 1 p.m. by Madeline Shanks, assisted by Alice Maxwell. A program will follow.
CLASSES
XMcDonald High School Class of 1956 will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.
CLUBS
XAmerican-Hungarian Club will hold a business meeting at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the clubhouse on Donald Avenue, Youngstown. On the agenda will be installation of new officers and discussion of the valentine party for members on Feb. 11 and the hurka sale on Feb. 17. Call (330) 799-7008 for reservations.

XOhio Cultural Alliance will meet at 6 p.m. Feb. 5 at St. Matthias Church Hall, Cornell Avenue at Shady Run Road, Youngstown. The topic will be "Enriching Elements of Life: Education," and the speaker will be Dr. Philip Ginette, dean of the school of education at Youngstown State University. XYoungstown Women's Connection will have a "Pajama Party" luncheon at noon Feb. 13 at the Italian American Banquet Center, 115 S. Meridian Road, Austintown. There will be a fashion show of lounge and sleepwear, special music by Jim Davis, and Almedah Evans will speak on "Friends." The cost is 7. LIBRARY FRIENDS
XFriends of Poland Library will meet at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 6 for coffee followed by a business meeting at 10. An audience participation program on handwriting analysis will be presented by Rebecca M. Easton-Wehr, certified graphoanalyst. Hostesses will be Ritchie Jones, Marge Yentch, Louise Schwartz and Lee Wright. The public is welcome. Magazines and books will be collected for the book cart.
POLITICAL CLUBS
XCanfield Republican Women will meet at 11:30 p.m. Feb. 7 for a social and a noon luncheon at A La Cart in Canfield. Hugh Earnhart, professor emeritus at Youngstown State University and Civil War historian, will speak on "Lincoln -- Successes in His Presidency." XMothers of Crucifix Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church will meet at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 4 at the lower church hall. Anita Jones will preside, and plans will be made for an annual card and bingo party. Refreshments will be served.
XSt. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the parish house.
XSeton III will meet at noon Thursday at St. Columba Parish Hall. A talk on "Identity Theft" will be presented by Melissa Todisak of the Better Business Bureau. The hostess committee will consist of Midge Walsh, chairperson, and Jeanne Foley, Betty Hasler, Sue Johnson, Betsy Burke Mitchell, Lenore Nagle, Kathryn O'Hara and Sister Isabel Rudge.
XUnited Methodist Women of Richard Brown Church will meet Thursday at the church with Eleanor Harris presiding. The executive committee will meet at 12:15 p.m. Members are to take a sack lunch and dessert will be provided for the lunch at 1 p.m. by the luncheon committee, Edith Thornton, Betty Kolat and Joan Marx. The blessing will be by Judy Dunn and Ruby Kuhns will have the program on "Prayer and Self Denial."

XGirard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St., Girard.
SINGLES
XD.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road.
