Jan. 21
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: Police arrested a Hazel Street man on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after a Girard woman said he came to her home asking to use the phone and she discovered her 1988 Cadillac missing.
Jan. 22
Assaults: An East Main Street woman alleged her boyfriend, 21, struck the left side of her head, pushed her and punched her in the ribs. The victim's sister reported the man pushed her too.
Jan. 23
Aggravated menacing: A Maple Drive man reported his former girlfriend sent him an e-mail in which she threatened to kill him.
LIBERTY
Jan. 19
Drug paraphernalia: An arrest was made as police investigated a disturbance near a Shell gas station, 3990 Belmont Ave., and said they found a suspected crack pipe. No information regarding a suspect was in the report.
Theft: A North Gate Road woman reported a 36-year-old Poland man she hired to help her move furniture left without delivering a sofa and loveseat. The loss came to 800.
Jan. 20
Recovered property: A wallet containing 22 and other items was found near Goleta Avenue.
Weapon: Police found a semiautomatic handgun and 14 rounds of ammunition during a traffic stop near state Route 193 and Colonial Drive.
Theft: A man shortchanged an employee 30 at Wendy's, 4001 Belmont Ave.
Jan. 21
Arrest: A 25-year-old Youngstown woman was taken into custody at a Speedway gas station on Belmont Avenue on two traffic warrants and a charge of driving under suspension.
Criminal damaging: Someone forced open and damaged a fire extinguisher at the Hampton Inn, 4400 Belmont Ave.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 5700 block of Logan Arms Drive found out his tool shed was damaged, and a woman in the area discovered someone spray-painted a wheel on her truck.

Identity theft: A Fisher Drive man told officers he got a letter from a collection agency referring to a delinquent 485 phone bill on an account he never opened.
Possible theft: A Roosevelt Boulevard woman returned to her residence and discovered her cat may have been taken.
Jan. 23
Breaking and entering: Someone cut a screen, pushed open a side window and broke into Fortune Garden, 4245 Belmont Ave., before taking an undisclosed amount of money.
Criminal damaging: Someone tried to pull open a set of doors at Station Square Restaurant, 4250 Belmont Ave., and did 100 worth of damage to a door jamb and lock.

Possible breaking and entering: A man found out someone many have tried to gain entry to his home in the 800 block of Doris Drive.
Fraud: A Saul Drive man noticed his debit/credit card had been used fraudulently.
Criminal mischief: Someone drove through and damaged a yard in the 500 block of Dorchester Drive.
Drug paraphernalia: A man cleaning a Hillview Drive apartment called police after finding two suspected crack pipes.

Theft: Someone in a green Chevrolet Cavalier left without paying for gasoline from Hubbard Gas & amp; Mini Mart, 175 Youngstown-Hubbard Road.

Identity theft: A Fifth Avenue woman told police she was a victim.
