Variety of events are planned at Youngstown Banquet Center

YOUNGSTOWN -- Beginning Feb. 4, a youth talent show will be held at 5 p.m. the first Sunday of every month at Youngstown Banquet Center (formerly Krakusy Hall), 2205 South Ave.
The winning act will receive a 100 prize, with 50 going to second place and 25 to third.
Auditions are now being held for the Feb. 4 show. To audition, call Greg Johnson of J.J. Productions at (330) 720-2485 or (330) 746-9907.
Admission to the talent show will be 5.
Other monthly events are also scheduled at the banquet hall.
Beginning Feb. 11, a Gospel Choir Showcase will be held at 5 p.m. the second Sunday of every month. Admission is 5 for adults and 3 for children under 18.
Both the talent show and the Gospel Showcase will be televised on Warner Cable Channel 9. They can also be viewed at YoungstownTV.com.
Beginning Feb. 18, a Wine Sip and Fashion Show will be held at 5 p.m. the third Sunday of every month. Wine and finger foods will be provided, and a DJ will provide music. Attendees can bring their own bottle. The audience will participate in the show, so dress to impress. Admission is 10.
Beginning Feb. 25, a party with a live band and a DJ will be held at 5 p.m. on the fourth Sunday of every month. Line dancing will be featured at this bring-your-own-bottle affair.
Admission is 10 and is limited to adults over 21.
Attendees at all events at the Banquet Center are asked to bring canned goods, nonperishable food, paper goods and personal grooming items to donate to the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley.
