WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Wayne Ellington scored 18 points, fellow freshman Ty Lawson added all 15 of his in the second half for North Carolina.
Tyler Hansbrough added 13 points for the Tar Heels (18-2, 5-1 Atlantic Coast Conference), who outscored the Demon Deacons 46-23 in the second half en route to their third straight win and 15th in 16 games.
Danny Green and freshman Brandan Wright added 12 points apiece for North Carolina, which won its second straight against Wake Forest.
It was the Tar Heels' most lopsided victory over the Demon Deacons since a 29-point romp in 1986 and helped them improve to 3-6 in their last nine meetings with Wake Forest.
Texas Tech 70, No. 6 Texas A & amp;M 68
LUBBOCK, Texas -- Martin Zeno sank a free throw with 24.9 seconds remaining to lift Texas Tech over Texas A & amp;M, giving the Red Raiders their second straight win over a Top 10 team.
Tech beat then-No. 5 Kansas 69-64 Saturday. The loss snapped the Aggies' 11-game Big 12 win streak, the longest in school history.
Zeno scored 22 points and John Plefka added 17 to lead Tech (15-5, 4-1 Big 12).
Acie Law scored 26 points and Dominique Kirk had 12 to lead the Aggies (16-3, 4-1).
No. 8 Kansas 82, Baylor 56
WACO, Texas -- Brandon Rush scored 18 points and Kansas held Baylor to three points in the first 11 minutes to cruise to victory.
Julian Wright added 16 points for the Jayhawks (17-3, 4-1 Big 12).
Baylor coach Scott Drew was courtside a little more than 24 hours after having an appendectomy on Tuesday. He stayed in his seat, letting assistant Matt Driscoll do most of the game coaching.
Curtis Jerrells scored 12 to lead the Bears (11-8, 1-5).
No. 9 Pittsburgh 67, Cincinnati 51
CINCINNATI -- Levance Fields made a career-high six 3-pointers, leading a long-range spree that carried Pittsburgh past Cincinnati.
The Panthers (18-3, 6-1) held onto their spot atop the Big East by featuring their dangerous inside-out attack. Pitt went 12-of-19 from 3-point range against a smaller team determined to not get beaten inside by 7-foot center Aaron Gray.
John Williamson scored 15 points to lead Cincinnati (10-9, 1-4).
No. 15 Marquette 89, Seton Hall 76
MILWAUKEE -- Sophomores Wesley Matthews and Jerel McNeal scored 22 points apiece and Marquette had little trouble with Seton Hall.
McNeal made 9-of-15 shots, and had seven rebounds, four steals and a career-high 10 assists for Marquette (18-4, 5-2 Big East), which avoided a letdown after its thrilling 77-74 overtime victory at Big East leading Pittsburgh on Sunday.
Jamar Nutter scored 12 of his team-high 18 points in the second half and Eugene Harvey added 14 for Seton Hall (11-8, 3-4), which lost consecutive games for the first time this season.
Vanderbilt 64, No. 21 LSU 53
BATON ROUGE, La. -- Derrick Byars scored 18 points and Shan Foster added a pair of baskets in the final minutes to give Vanderbilt its third straight victory over a ranked team.
LSU was doomed by a poor start, and Vanderbilt (14-6, 4-2 Southeastern Conference), coming off victories over Alabama and Kentucky, remained consistent enough down the stretch to hold of a charge by the Tigers in the final 10 minutes.
Tasmin Mitchell and Garrett Temple fueled an 18-6 LSU run to get the Tigers (13-6, 2-3) as close as 55-49 with 2:56 left.
