Seminar focuses on kindergarten preparation

BOARDMAN -- Mahoning South Catholic Schools will present a free seminar, "How to Prepare Your Child for Kindergarten," at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Luke School hall, 5225 South Ave.
Kindergarten teachers from the schools will present these topics:
Entrance dates and summer birthdays by Ann St. George of St. Luke.
Immunizations by Mary Jo Pokabla of St. Luke.
Social readiness by Bonnie Hogg of Holy Family School.
Emotional readiness by Patti Bartholomew and Barb Ealy of St. Charles School.
Personal readiness by MaryJo Nyers of St. Nicholas School.
Motor development by Tim Gallagher of Holy Family.
Academic readiness by Bartholomew and Ealy of St. Charles.
Speech by Carol Cerni of St. Luke and St. Charles.
Information packets will be provided to all participants.
