Cookie money taken from Girl Scouts


YOUNGSTOWN — Two city women are accused of stealing more than $1,500   from the Girl Scouts.

Karen Conklin, chief executive officer of the Girl Scouts of America's Lake to River Council, based in Niles,   reported that the two women kept $1,512 they made from Girl Scout cookie sales, according to Youngstown police reports.

The women were identified by Conklin, but no arrests have yet been made in the thefts.
